FAQ's

question_mark

How big is it?

24 × 40 inches, portrait orientation, in a slim matte black frame. Mounting hardware isn't included, so pick hardware suited to your wall, or lean it on a shelf or console.

question_mark

How do the lights work?

An LED strip is concealed inside the frame and edge-lights the pane, so the light enters the glass itself rather than shining on it. The crushed glass catches it and the fracture lines carry it across the piece. Nothing about the lighting is visible from the front no diodes, no strip, no glow behind the frame. Everything needed to run it comes with the piece.

question_mark

How long until it arrives?

Up to 4 weeks in production, often sooner, plus shipping. Nothing is pre-made your piece is built by hand once your order comes in. You'll hear from us when production starts, when it's finished, and when it ships with tracking.

question_mark

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Before production begins, yes, in full, no explanation needed. After production has begun we can't refund, because the piece is being built for you specifically.

question_mark

What if it breaks in shipping?

We replace it, free. Send photos of the piece and the packaging within 7 days of delivery. You don't return anything and you don't pay shipping. Every piece is packed for freight handling and fully insured.

question_mark

Are pieces limited?

Yes. Every design is produced in a limited run, and once that run closes the design is retired and never made again. We cap production deliberately. A piece anyone can buy at any time isn't the same object as one that exists in a finite number, and we'd rather protect that than sell more.

The Method

Each piece begins with a single sheet of tempered glass and one strike. The fracture cannot be planned, and it cannot be undone. From there the work is slow the lines are opened by hand, one at a time, until the figure surfaces in the break.

Nothing is printed, layered or applied. The image exists only where the glass has given way.
