How big is it?
How big is it?
24 × 40 inches, portrait orientation, in a slim matte black frame. Mounting hardware isn't included, so pick hardware suited to your wall, or lean it on a shelf or console.
How do the lights work?
How do the lights work?
An LED strip is concealed inside the frame and edge-lights the pane, so the light enters the glass itself rather than shining on it. The crushed glass catches it and the fracture lines carry it across the piece. Nothing about the lighting is visible from the front no diodes, no strip, no glow behind the frame. Everything needed to run it comes with the piece.
How long until it arrives?
How long until it arrives?
Up to 4 weeks in production, often sooner, plus shipping. Nothing is pre-made your piece is built by hand once your order comes in. You'll hear from us when production starts, when it's finished, and when it ships with tracking.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Before production begins, yes, in full, no explanation needed. After production has begun we can't refund, because the piece is being built for you specifically.
What if it breaks in shipping?
What if it breaks in shipping?
We replace it, free. Send photos of the piece and the packaging within 7 days of delivery. You don't return anything and you don't pay shipping. Every piece is packed for freight handling and fully insured.
Are pieces limited?
Are pieces limited?
Yes. Every design is produced in a limited run, and once that run closes the design is retired and never made again. We cap production deliberately. A piece anyone can buy at any time isn't the same object as one that exists in a finite number, and we'd rather protect that than sell more.
The Method
Each piece begins with a single sheet of tempered glass and one strike. The fracture cannot be planned, and it cannot be undone. From there the work is slow the lines are opened by hand, one at a time, until the figure surfaces in the break.
Nothing is printed, layered or applied. The image exists only where the glass has given way.
What buyers are saying
Real reactions to their Maison Fracture panel.
The detail in the cracked glass looks insane in person. The pictures really don't do it justice and it catches the light all day.
Bought this as a gift and almost kept it for myself. It came really well packaged and showed up in perfect shape.
You can tell it's actually handmade. The quality is way above anything else I looked at. Worth every penny.
It's the first thing people notice when they walk into my place. Looks even better in person than it does online.
Shipping took a couple extra days but the piece itself is beautiful. No regrets at all.
Feels like something out of a gallery. The weight and finish are seriously high quality and it went past what I expected.
